There are many business groups around Adelaide city that may help you with widening your network.

These groups will work to expand your business circle and provide support to help you succeed.

AMCHAM is recognised as Australia's most active and pre-eminent business Chamber providing high level networking and business opportunities to Australia’s leading businesses.

Australia/Israel Chamber of Commerce

The AICC manages an extensive and impressive member network and events to enhance non-partisan business networking at senior levels and vigorously promotes bilateral trade through inbound and outbound trade missions.

behind closed doors is a leading national network of businesswomen supporting and encouraging each other to attain greater levels of success through opening doors to new opportunities and markets.

Made of eight invitation-only memberships, you will be provided with access to high level business executives, government and community leaders.  You will be placed into a confidential women’s support network where you will receive encouragement and support to enable you to confidently accept greater professional challenges, including nominating for Board and Chairman roles.

Free networking events, as an introduction to behind closed doors and it’s members,  are held in the Adelaide CBD quarterly.

BNI

Unlike other networking groups, BNI provides its members with a professional structure and an ongoing training system which enables members to network in a deliberate manner as well as constantly update their referral marketing skills.

 BPW  BPW offer fantastic opportunities for women working and living in Adelaide and the surrounding suburbs. This progressive professional group of women who meet to discuss issues that affect women locally, nationally and internationally.
Ceda (Committee of Economic Development of Australia)

CEDA is a national, independent, member-based organisation providing thought leadership and policy perspectives on the economic and social issues affecting Australia. CEDA events engage high profile speakers on the policy challenges facing local, regional and national development.

CITSCA (Council for International Trade & Commerce South Australia Inc)

CITCSA is the peak body for the thirty nine international chambers of commerce and business councils located in South Australia. It supports its member organisations in developing worldwide networks to facilitate market access for the export of South Australian goods and services, through their bilateral relations with their countries of origin. CITSCA organises regular workshops and networking sessions for members.

Australian Malaysian Business Council (SA) 

The Australian Malaysian Business Council (SA) was established with the goal of fostering, supporting and promoting business, investment and cultural opportunities between Australia and Malaysia and today our membership is comprised of leading companies and individuals who are at the forefront of forging business links between Australia and Malaysia.

Metro Networking Incorporated 

Metro Networking Incorporated has been running for over 15 years and holds weekly breakfasts on a Thursday morning. The prime aim of the MNI group is to assist members to grow their business through networking and identifying business leads. MNI members are involved in small businesses throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area and experience the power of networking with other professionals.

Newcomers Network

This network has been designed to help connect other people who have moved to Adelaide through various networking events.

Royal Institute of Australia- (RiAus)

RiAus sets out to raise scientific awareness and the level of debate on critical issues around science and technology. RiAus strives to highlight the importance of science in everyday life through various events.

SACOME (South Australian Chamber of Mines & Energy)

SACOME is a not for profit, non-government organisation which aims to promote the long term sustainability of the resources industry in South Australia. SACOME hosts a diverse corporate events calendar incorporating lunch and breakfast events, as well as a range of seminars & workshops. SACOME also organises and presents the South Australian resources sector's biggest event, the Resources Industry Annual Dinner.

Skål International Adelaide

SKAL is an international organisation, the Adelaide club number 225 was founded in 1962. We have a membership base of over 60 travel, tourism and hospitality managers from SA and meet monthly for networking and have a different guest speaker with informative topics.

Success Women's Network

Success Women’s Network doesn’t just offer networking events but acts as a community supporting each other. Monthly networking lunches are in various locations and are not like a typical business lunch but more active, more engaging and more relaxed. It’s a tailor made, female-only environment for business women to meet the local business community, network, learn and thrive. Their goal is to empower and enable members while providing effective networking opportunities, inspiring keynote speakers and valuable business development opportunities, resulting in business improvement with measurable and profitable results for business.

Sustainability Drinks

Adelaide Sustainability Drinks is a highly regarded and successful monthly sustainability networking event. An open invitation is extended to all who are “passionate about sustainability” to come and mingle with like minded people and listen to a speaker share their sustainability story

RESA

The Property Council of Australia

The Property Council runs a series of events ranging from lunches, forums, workshops and site visits to educational courses, national conferences and professional development courses.

The South Australian Centre for Economic Studies

The South Australian Centre for Economic Studies is a self-funding, joint research unit of the University of Adelaide and the Flinders University of South Australia. The Centre holds various events throughout the year.

The Urban Development Institute of South Australia

The Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) is the leading representative body for the urban development industry. The Institute was formed in 1962 to represent the interests of the private sector in close collaboration with all levels of government and other organisations with complementary agendas. Members include major public corporations, financial institutions, small companies, professional practices and private individuals directly involved in the production, financing and marketing of urban property developments.

Uni SA- Hawke Centre

The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre, known as the Hawke Centre, is a community-focused centre devoted to generating ideas and solutions to achieve cohesive, sustainable societies. Local and international communities are engaged through public learning activities including lectures, seminars, alliances and research projects.

Women in Innovation and Technology SA (WIT SA)

Women in Innovation and Technology SA (WIT SA) is the preferred networking and professional development organisation for women in technology and related industries in South Australia. Members are provided our members with personal and professional networking opportunities, accessible and affordable knowledge and skills development and links to relevant external events and resources. WIT gives you the opportunity to enjoy discounted events and workshops; network with like-minded peers; participate in our highly successful mentoring or board readiness programs; and keep up to date with the latest innovation and technology news.
