Adelaide Oval Museum

Adelaide Oval Learn of the Oval's rich sporting history and see cricket memorabilia including the Bradman Collection.

It was originally Sir Donald Bradman's wish that a home for the Collection might one day be found at Adelaide Oval. This took place in August 2008 to coincide with the centenary of his birth.

Ayers House Museum

Ayers HouseLocated in the East End on North Terrace, Ayers House is the only historic house within the CBD of Adelaide. The colonial mansion was named after nineteenth century State Premier Sir Henry Ayers, and illustrates Victorian domestic life as it was lived, both upstairs and downstairs. On display is a collection of historic costumes, silver, artwork and furniture as well as changing exhibitions.

History Trust Exhibition Gallery

Located at the Torrens Parade Ground this gallery presents changing exhibitions which focus on aspects of the history of South Australia and the City of Adelaide. The exhibition gallery also includes the Duryea Panorama. A leading colonial photographer, Duryea captured a unique 360 degree panoramic view of Adelaide.

Migration Museum

Migration MuseumHoused in the historic remains of Adelaide’s Destitute Asylum, the Migration Museum works towards the preservation, understanding and enjoyment of South Australia's diverse cultures. It is a place to discover the many identities of the people of South Australia through the stories of individuals and communities.

Mortlock Wing Exhibitions

Exhibition space located in the historic wing of the State Library which has permanent displays illustrating the history and culture of South Australia.

Museum of Economic Botany

This museum houses some of the objects an early Director of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Dr Schomburgk, obtained from around the world. The Museum originally opened in 1881 and has an ornate, stencilled, wooden ceiling.

Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute

TandanyaEstablished in 1989, Tandanya enjoys a unique position as Australia's oldest Indigenous owned and managed multi-arts centre.

Tandanya is a national institute, presenting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and culture from Australia.

The name comes from the language of the traditional inhabitants of the Adelaide Plains, the Kaurna people (pronounced "Garna"), and means "place of the Red Kangaroo".
