Biodiversity Gallery Opening Weekend

Be one of the first people to visit the South Australian Biodiversity Gallery.

Book your place for this free 45 minute guided tour on Friday highlighting the splendour of South Australian wildlife. The tours times are from 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm with bookings essential.

On Saturday from 11am to 3pm drop into the Biodiversity Gallery and chat with SA Museum experts who will answer all your burning questions about biodiversity. Learn about amazing wildlife, current research projects and behind the scenes stories on how the gallery came to life. Saturday will be a full day with the following events scheduled during the day and night:

The Bat Cave

Live animals
Mike’s Discovery Desk

On Sunday join Ashley Walsh on the front lawns of the South Australian Museum for his popular 891 Weekends program including Talkback Gardening with Malcolm Campbell. Hear from South Australian Museum experts and special guests discussing ways we can all contribute to South Australia’s biodiversity. On Sunday the kids can even get their face painted as their favourite South Australian animal between 11am to 3pm.
